Test drive crossover Renault Arkana TCe 150
The excellent Renault Arkana TCe 150 crossover impresses with its swift silhouette and excellent dynamics. The car is clearly positioned as a convenient means of transportation within the city, and Arkana copes with this task with a plus. Whatever it was, but we conducted our traditional test drive and looked at the car in dynamics.
Under the hood, we are greeted by a powerful 150 hp turbocharged engine, which works in close cooperation with the variator and all-wheel drive. The power plant and transmission do not depend on the configuration, of which there are two: Style versions and Edition One.
The car has not very good ergonomics, but the front panel is refined and boasts a climate control unit in a pleasant design. In general, the fit is much more comfortable, and the steering wheel reach is great for drivers of average height.
As for the dynamics, the car keeps the track straight. Small bumps and bumps are swallowed by a good suspension. Four-wheel drive cheerfully pulls the heavy body uphill, but in a straight line, inside the cabin, for some reason, not very pleasant vibrations are felt. Noise isolation could have been done better, but overall the crossover makes a good impression!
